Medical, Dental & Vision Coverage

CMG offers multiple medical plans through Blue Shield (PPO and HSA-compatible HDHPs), as well as Kaiser HMO plans in select regions. Preventive care is covered at 100%. Dental and vision coverage is offered through Delta Dental and VSP, with affordable buy-up options for more robust coverage.

Health Savings & Flexible Spending Accounts

For those enrolled in a high-deductible health plan (HDHP), CMG contributes to your Health Savings Account (HSA):

  • $500 annually for individual coverage
  • $1,000 annually for family coverage

Flexible Spending Accounts (FSAs) are available for:

  • General healthcare
  • Dependent care
  • Commuter/transportation expenses

These are all pre-tax deductions that help reduce your taxable income.

401(k) Retirement Savings

Planning for the future starts today – and CMG is here to support that.

  • Plan Provider: Empower
  • Company Match: 100% of the first 3% you contribute, plus 50% of the next 2%
  • In plain terms: contribute 5%, CMG matches 4%
  • Vesting Schedule: You are fully vested after two years of service

Life, Disability & Supplemental Insurance

Every full-time employee receives company-paid basic life and AD&D insurance.

You can also elect additional benefits including:

  • Voluntary life insurance
  • Short- and long-term disability
  • Critical illness, accident, and hospital indemnity insurance (offered through Prudential)
  • Whole life insurance with long-term care options

Time Off and Holidays

We believe rest fuels performance. CMG offers:

  • Paid Time Off (PTO): 15 days annually, with accrual increasing over time
  • Holidays: 10 paid holidays observed annually:
    • New Year’s Day
    • Martin Luther King Jr. Day
    • Presidents Day
    • Memorial Day
    • Independence Day
    • Labor Day
    • Veterans Day
    • Thanksgiving Day
    • Day after Thanksgiving
    • Christmas Day
  • Sick Leave: No separate sick time – it’s part of your PTO
  • PTO Rollover: PTO does not automatically carry over and may be forfeited if unused by year-end

Payroll & Pay Frequency

  • Pay Periods: Employees are paid biweekly (26 pay periods/year)
  • Payroll Provider: Paylocity
  • Direct deposit and pre-tax deductions available for all eligible benefits

Eligibility and Start Dates

  • Benefits begin on the 1st of the month following your hire date
  • If you’re hired on the 1st, benefits begin immediately
  • Qualifying life events (marriage, birth, loss of coverage) allow for mid-year enrollment changes
