In 2024, CMG Financial achieved a total mortgage origination volume of $21 billion with nearly 60,000 loans, positioning it as the 10th-largest mortgage lender in the United States. CMG has over 1,300 Loan Officers across the United States. CMG is a fully licensed mortgage lender in all 50 states – plus Guam, Puerto Rico, and the U.S. Virgin Islands.

- Retail Lending: Approximately $15.57 billion accounting for 72% of total volume.
- Wholesale Lending: Approximately $1.73 billion, representing 8% of total volume.

About the North Texas Region
The North Texas region of CMG is focused on quality growth and has been led by Regional Manager Mark Pfeiffer since February 2025. North Texas has three Area Sales Managers: Dana Allen, Doug Schulman, and Hugo Madrid. The North Texas team produced over $600M in 2024 and is targeting $800M in 2025.

CMG’s Leadership

Area Sales Managers
Dana Allen oversees the Frisco and Grand Prairie branches. Dana started with CMG April 2024, has over two decades in the mortgage industry, and is highly skilled in leveraging CMG’s corporate marketing tools, reporting systems, and CRM analytics. His leadership ensures teams maximize marketing ROI and operational efficiency.
Doug Schulman has been with CMG since 2022 and is based in Frisco. Doug co-Managers the following branches with Mark Pfeiffer: Addison, East Dallas, Flower Mound, Frisco, both Mansfield locations, Plano, and Southlake. Doug’s specialty is underwriting strategy and navigating complex deals. He is a go-to resource for Loan Officers working through challenging scenarios and guidelines.
Hugo Madrid leads the Dallas, Highland Village, and Clinton, Arkansas branches. Hugo started with CMG in May 2024 as a key cultural driver in the North Texas region. He’s known for fostering loyalty, trust, and high morale across his team. Hugo’s focus is on maintaining strong internal relationships and creating a supportive branch environment.
Regional Manager for North Texas
Mark Pfeiffer, Regional Manager of North Texas, joined CMG in April 2023 as part of the Homebridge acquisition. In 2024, the Mortgage Mark Team personally produced 200 units for $80 million. Okay, 197 units for $79.2M… but who’s counting?
Mark runs the North Texas Region and is passionate about helping Loan Officers grow their businesses through strategic coaching, operational support, and business planning. Mark’s strengths include process design, operational checklists, and scalable systems that help originators increase volume while improving efficiency.
Divisional Manager for Texas
Chris Minjarez serves as the State Manager for Texas and has been with CMG since 2013. Based in Austin, Chris is an elite producer in his own right—closing 625 transactions in 2024. He provides both leadership and real-world insights to Branch Managers and Regional Leaders across the state.
The largest Texas concentrations of CMG branches are in Central Texas (Austin & San Antonio), North Texas, Houston, and El Paso. CMG does have other branches throughout Texas – like in The Valley and East Texas – but the bulk of the production comes from the major metropolitan areas.
Territory Manager: South Central
Tammy Turner, the Retail Executive for the South Central Territory, has been with CMG since 2016 and been in the industry for over three decades. Tammy oversees states from the Southeast all the way to Minnesota, including Alabama, Arkansas, Georgia, Illinois, Michigan, North and South Carolina, Ohio, Tennessee, Texas and Wisconsin. Based in Alabama, Tammy’s territory generated over $9 billion in production in 2024. Tammy’s enthusiasm is unmatched. #WhoHoo!!
National Sales Leadership
Tony Giglio serves as CMG’s Head of Sales and leads the company’s national sales vision and strategy. Tony joined CMG in 2016 and has been in the industry over two decades and is based in Raleigh, NC. Tony does a great job growing CMG while maintaining a personal management approach that preserves the company culture.
Executive Leadership
Chris George is CMG’s Founder and sole owner. He launched the company in 1993 and remains actively involved in its daily operations. Chris is a former Loan Officer and continues to drive innovation, growth, and long-term strategy at the executive level.
